Volunteer for TASP

The Animal Support Project is an all-volunteer organization.

Just some of the contributions our volunteers offer the community:

  • Fostering and finding new homes for pets
  • Participating in crisis response for local animals
  • Transporting animals/supplies
  • Training and Behavioral work with local pets who need polishing
  • Participating in special work projects (such as building a fence needed by a pet owner)
  • Organizing and/or staffing fund raisers and community events
  • Contributing material for our website
  • Providing postings for our Facebook page
  • Assisting with office/clerical tasks
  • Writing newsletter articles and/or helping with design and publishing

There are many, many things to do, so we’re always happy to consider any offers of assistance!

What can Volunteers expect from The Animal Support Project?

TASP offers free training to our volunteers with local and national experts. Learn the latest science in animal training, basic veterinary principles, pet first aid, small and large animal handling and rescue techniques, building and carpentry skills, photography and photo editing, and so much more! We invest in our volunteers because we know our volunteers have a choice about where they spend their time.
